1.      INTRODUCTION

1.1  The Website Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) set out below, will govern the protection and processing of User’s personal data that is collected or submitted, by using the website www.deventor.com.cy (the “Website”).

1.2  The Website is owned and operated by PH. Hadjigeorgiou Trading Limited, a limited liability company registered in Cyprus, whose address is Megalou Alexandrou 12, 2232 Latsia, Nicosia, Cyprus (hereinafter referred to as “us”, “we”, “our”).

1.3  Please read this Policy carefully. By submitting your acceptance on the relevant notifications posted on the Website, you are deemed to have read, understood, agreed to and consented to processing of your personal data according to the terms of this Policy.

1.4  This Policy should be read alongside the Website Terms and Conditions of Use found here as well as the Terms and Conditions for Purchases.

“User” is a person (natural personal or legal entity) accessing or otherwise using the Website, including a person who creates an Account.

In order to process an application to register an Account, we will need to collect the following minimum information:

2.2  Using an Account to purchase of Products

In addition to the information collected upon registering an Account, in order to process a User’s purchase of Products, we will need to collect some or all of the following information:

  • Information related to the User’s bank Account or paypal Account or other payment method Account information

  • Address for Delivery of purchased Products (if applicable)

2.3  Submitting an enquiry, request or complaint to us, using the Website Contact us page

In order to process your submission and in order to be able to take any necessary action or measures and in order to respond to you, when contacting us through this website feature, we will need to collect the following minimum information:

3.      RETENTION PERIOD

3.1  Personal data of Users who have registered an Account, is retained in order to enable the User to log-in to the Account, make purchases, view and update their information, view purchases history, track pending purchases, and in general to enable us to facilitate the User’s Account and to provide the Website’s functions to the User. Personal data in documents related to our finances or our tax obligations (ie. documents related to purchases) are retained for a period not exceeding 7 years after full and final settlement of the purchase price. Save for the above provision, upon completion of the inactivity period as per the Website Terms and Conditions, or after a User has deleted their Account or made a relevant request to us or the Account has been removed by us due to an infringement of the Website Terms and Conditions by the User, personal data related to the Account registration, will be permanently deleted from our records, subject to our option to retain such data for purposes related to our legal, tax or regulatory obligations, or for purposes related to our legitimate interests in preserving such data for use as evidence or otherwise, in proceedings before a court, arbitrator, mediator or regulatory authority, or in other types of proceedings.

3.2  Personal data of Users who have submitted an enquiry, request or complaint to us, using the Website Contact us page, is retained in order to and for as long as it is necessary to enable us to process your submission and in order to be able to take any necessary action or measures and in order to be able to respond to you. After that, such data is only retained for as long as it is necessary to safeguard our legitimate interests in the event of a legal or other dispute or for as long as it is necessary to protect the interests of the User who has made the submission or the interests of the person who is the subject of the submission. Otherwise the data is permanently deleted and removed form our records, unless the User who has made the submission is also an Account holder. In such a case, some or all of the personal data related to the submission will be subject to the retention period of Paragraph 3.1 above.

11.  THIRD-PARTIES

11.1  In order to be able to provide continuous service to our Users, we work with third party service providers for hosting the Website and maintaining the Website and its content.

11.2  Our third-party service providers shall only process personal data for the purpose of providing to us their services and are contractually obligated to only process such data for the duration of our service agreement and to ensure that any person who is authorised by the service provider to process your personal data shall be under an obligation of confidentiality.

11.3  Third parties which are facilitators of the purchase price payment, as chosen by the User, may be notified some or all of the personal data submitted by the User upon making a payment for a purchase.
